CFW began as Careers for Women, and we are committed to continuing the work begun by our Founder, David King, in 1973.

While a core component of our business is recruitment, an area in which we provide equal opportunity for men and women, we have a special interest in promoting the cause of women in the workplace. With so much being written about continuing challenges for women, particularly in the tech sector, we find it important to speak out on the topic and engage in the public discourse. We do so through our newly formed advocacy arm, hosting networking and informative events as well as small group discussions and industry nights. Our blog and chatroom are intended to encourage dialogue and foster a supportive community. And we provide additional resources to advance women in their careers and promote women in leadership.

Events: Changing the Conversation, Empowering Women in Business

Reflections from Attendees

"It was refreshing to hear genuine stories and recommendations from such relevant women with such diverse experience."
"Such an open, relatable, and honest group. I feel that often at these types of events I look at the speakers and think "Well that's not me" or "I don't think that way" but that was not the case yesterday. I could see parts of myself in each one of them and it really opened up the thinking that it is more than possible to move into a leadership role without having all of the boxes checked so long as you're willing to learn and have the confidence in yourself."
"I thought it was fantastic and very inspiring! You and your team are doing a great job in what you believe it, and bringing women in business together. This is like Lean In concept to a tee."
"It was such a wonderful event and so much of what the women said on the panel resonated with me."
"What a great panel and discussion! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the panelists, topics and questions at the end. …Please just know I felt buoyed and inspired when I left the Schoology offices. I hope you will host many more in future!"
"It was amazing to see such a highly attended event. I was thrilled for you and happy to be a part of it."
